Start your mushroom cultivation with our premium Pioppino Grain Spawn, available in approximately 1.5 kg units. Pioppino (Cyclocybe aegerita) is produced as second-generation (G2) grain spawn from carefully selected commercial fruiting genetics chosen for vigorous mycelial growth, rapid colonization, dense cluster formation, excellent biological efficiency, and consistent yields. Each bag contains fully colonized premium corn grain, providing a vigorous inoculum ready for expansion onto pasteurized or sterilized bulk substrates.

Every grain spawn bag is prepared under strict sterile laboratory conditions and inspected before shipment to ensure vigorous, contamination-free colonization. Pioppino is highly regarded for its elegant long stems, rich brown caps, exceptional nutty flavor, and excellent cultivation performance, making it a favorite among gourmet mushroom growers worldwide. Grain spawn is ideal for inoculating a wide variety of hardwood-based bulk substrates for reliable mushroom production.

Freshly Prepared:

To ensure maximum viability and vigor, every grain spawn bag is prepared fresh to order. Please allow approximately 2–3 weeks for grain preparation, sterilization, inoculation, complete colonization, quality inspection, and packaging before shipment.
