Fresh Mushrooms
When are fresh mushrooms available?
Fresh gourmet mushrooms are offered seasonally and availability depends on our harvest schedule. Follow us on social media for harvest announcements and current availability.
How should fresh mushrooms be stored?
Store fresh mushrooms in the refrigerator in a paper bag or loosely wrapped in paper towels. Avoid airtight containers or plastic bags, which can trap moisture and shorten shelf life.
Pressure-Canned Mushrooms
Are your pressure-canned mushrooms fresh?
Our mushrooms are harvested at peak freshness and pressure canned shortly after harvest to preserve their natural flavor, texture, and quality.
Do they contain preservatives?
No. Our pressure-canned mushrooms contain only mushrooms and water. No preservatives, artificial flavors, or additives are used.
Are they fully cooked?
Yes. They are fully cooked during the pressure-canning process and are ready to enjoy straight from the jar or added directly to your favorite recipes.
How long do they last?
Unopened jars are shelf stable for years when stored in a cool, dry place.
How should they be stored after opening?
Refrigerate after opening and consume within 5–7 days.
How do I use them?
They are perfect for pasta, soups, stir-fries, risotto, pizzas, omelets, sandwiches, ramen, and countless other recipes.
Freeze-Dried Mushrooms
What are freeze-dried mushrooms?
Fresh mushrooms that have been freeze-dried to preserve their natural flavor, aroma, nutrients, and texture while significantly extending shelf life.
Do they contain preservatives?
No. They contain 100% mushrooms with no preservatives or additives.
How do I use them?
Rehydrate them in warm water before cooking, or grind them into a fine powder for soups, sauces, seasonings, broths, smoothies, coffee, and many other recipes.
How long do they last?
When stored sealed in a cool, dry place, freeze-dried mushrooms remain shelf stable for years.
Do freeze-dried mushrooms taste different?
Once rehydrated, they retain much of their original flavor and texture. When used dry, they provide a concentrated mushroom flavor ideal for seasonings and broths.
