Storage
For best results, begin transferring the culture soon after arrival. If storage is necessary, store at room temperature (18–30°C). Do not refrigerate or freeze, as Volvariella volvacea is a tropical species that is sensitive to cold temperatures. Prompt expansion is recommended for maximum vigor.
